What is Off-Turn Movement? Off-Turn movement refers to the ability to move your troops to other squares you control during your Off-Turn phase (When your opponents move). What You Can Move You will see two numbers under each map, usually .35 / .5 . The first number refers to how many moves you can make. This calculation is made by multiplying .35 * Squares you control, and rounding down. If you control 8 squares, .35 * 8 = 2.8, but you can only make 2 moves. How Much You Can Move The second number comes into play for how many soldiers you move. In this case .5 means that you can only move half of your soldiers to the next square. So if you have 8 soldiers, you can move 4, but if you have 7, it rounds down to 3. You can move multiple times from the same square, but it will count as multiple moves. This means that if you move twice from the 8, you will move 4 the first time, and then 2 the second time, because the square will only have 4. 8 - 4 = 4 * .5 = 2. Where You Can Move You can only move from squares with at least 2 soldiers. You can also only move TO squares that are connected vertically or horizontally. Moving to a diagonal square will take you two moves. You also can only move to squares you are connected to, and control. This is not a second attack phase. How to Move Off-Turn Movement is done the same way as attacking, by first selecting the square you want to move troops from, and then selecting the square you want to move troops to. But unlike attacking, you cannot move troops diagonally. How to Know if Off-Turn Movement is Enabled Below the map, you will see the phrase Off turn, with numbers similar to .35 / .5 . This means you can do off turn movements. Questions Post any questions you have, or suggestions for Off-Turn Movement in this forum, or PM me, and I will get back to you.
